Offices Help Mediate Family Disputes

 August 19, 2022
[For Women of China]

The women's federation of Changzhou Economic Development Zone, in East China's Jiangsu Province Province, has established 100 dispute-mediation offices in villages or communities in the zone since January 2021. Heads of village-level women's federations are responsible for reporting family disputes to the zone’s women's federation. The offices will send mediators, including cadres (who have received training in the law), social workers and volunteers, to help families resolve the disputes.
